Tell us a bit about your business. What makes you different?

Although we are a heritage home, we are first and foremost considerate of our objective to support and encourage our guests to work with us to conserve water, electricity, recycling etc.

Why is sustainability important to you/your business?

It’s very important for us to show to the conscious tourist that we are dedicated to purchase sustainable, local products and services that have the same dedication we have.

Why did you join GreenStep Sustainable Tourism?

Not only because of Agenda 2030 but for years we have taken in to consideration a fair, but conservative approach to saving energy, reduce waste and protect our planet.

What sustainability related projects, policies or initiatives do you most want travelers to know about?

We recycle everything, cut down on prepackaged and single use items, and more. How? 1. we have recycling containers in all our suites, 2. have no plastic water bottles, and provide glass refillable bottles instead. 3. display our commitment to our guests to get cooperation. 4. We use no pesticides on the property at all! 5. More and more we do our own prep and baking to reduce waste.

What are some goals and/or actions you plan to take in the future to further increase the sustainability of your business?

Continuing our dedication to protect, be considerate of the planet and conscious of sustainability objectives, we strive to be aware of making new and better decisions on everything we purchase, utilize and manage, to increase our sustainability goals day after day.
