At Nita Lake Lodge, we prioritize sustainability through a range of initiatives aimed at conserving water and preserving cultural heritage. Our efforts include educating guests and staff on water conservation, implementing low-flow faucets, and offering eco-friendly amenities

like bamboo toothbrushes. Establishing a visitor code of conduct promotes responsible exploration, while energy assessments drive efficiency improvements. We’re dedicated to supporting our community through donations and fundraising challenges, supporting

What are some goals and/or actions you plan to take in the future to further increase the sustainability of your business?

We’re thrilled to share that Nita Lake Lodge has achieved Bronze Certification from GreenStep Solutions, but our sustainability journey doesn’t stop there. By the end of 2024, we’re dedicated to phasing out single-use plastics with eco-friendly alternatives like locally made 3D printed bins. Future plans include implementing waste tracking systems, actively searching for green partners to increase our recycling efforts and further supporting our community through local suppliers. These steps align with our mission to continuously enhance our sustainability practices for a greener future.
