GREENSTEP AT THE CWSAA 2023 SPRING CONFERENCE IN WHISTLER

This month, the GreenStep team attended the Canada West Ski Areas Association Spring Conference & Trade Show in Whistler.

Angela Nagy, GreenStep President and CEO, spoke on two different panels at the event — The Future of Travel and Responsible Stewardship: How to Start a Program.

Our Director of Sustainable Tourism, Jenn Burling, was also in attendance, managing our booth at the trade show.

It was a great opportunity to network, learn, and build relationships with our industry colleagues!

Greenwashing… often times you know it when you see it. Buzz word promises, unfeasible commitments, and at times mistruths. Greenwashing is the marketing of untrue, unsupported, or misleading information. This information provides false confidence to the eco-conscious consumers leaving them feeling confused, embarrassed or distrustful when the truth emerges.
